RFID phones are selling like hot cakes in Japan and in case you are traveling to this country and have lost your way in one of the trains, my advice to you is just don't panic as RFID would help you in finding out your way in the unknown land. mitsubishi has come up with a new technology which would make your train travel quite easy out there. While you are in the train out there all you need to do is hold your RFID phone to RFID terminals inside the train carriage and you will get all information with regards to stations where the train stops and their arrival timings, connecting trains, any delays and a lot of other information to keep you busy during your journey. Since every information is hyperlinked you even get to know the finer details related to it.

So the next time you board a train in Japan stay assured you will reach your destination on time since the system even tells you in which direction you should move out of the train so that you can find an exit for yourself quite easily. Certainly RFID is making our lives pretty easy and the best thing I like about it is that it is being put to use for the common people.

Nice.. but not really. For starters this is a new "concept" on display at CEATEC here this week but it's not deployed anywhere (yet) in Japan.
Also, I would kindly suggest the odds of any useful info. - in English - for those lost Intl. travellers would be very low.. +_+
Maybe (hopefully) someday!
