Watch Hollywood Flicks Safely With RFID
Are you a customer of Premiere, one of the leading pay TV broadcasters? If yes then the company has made your movie watching experience more secure. Now the entire delivery route would be tracked- from production in Asia to delivery at the home of the customer as the receiver required for reception of the program has been fitted with RFID chip.

For achieving this all the credit goes to Siemens Business Services and Fiege Group and due to their effort every day over a four thousand television sets are being equipped with RFID tags. With the company having a viewer base of ten million people it enjoys a dominating position in Austria and Germany. Earlier barcodes were employed which was a time consuming and laborious process.

In the future expect RFID readers to identify pallets with around eighty devices in a matter of seconds. All this would be made possible by a RFID chip which would be installed during the production phase and delivery information would be stored in a central IT system.

Certainly technology has made our life pretty simpler. I hope you agree with me.
