UBWALL uses RFID to disperse information to customers
It's called UBWALL and is entrusted with the job of attracting customers. This giant plasma screen along with the aid of Wi-Fi and RFID attracts customers and offers required information to the customers making their job easier. The UBWALL has a fifty inch plasma screen and displays general information in order to attract customers and as they inch towards it motion sensor is used to detect them and it switches to menu and option list so that they can easily find related information using the touch sensitive display. After searching for what they want customers can request for quotes or brochures which can be wirelessly transmitted to their phones. The content on the UBWALL is regularly updated using Wi-Fi via a content management system.

Although it has been around for a couple of years but for the first time it has left the labs of Fujitsu and Nomura Securities which is a financial services company would be installing them in its branches in order to offer information related to stock prices, trading and branch services. UBWALL is likely to succeed in Japan since a vast population possesses phones with IC chips.
