The Touchless Rube Goldberg Machine
Rube Goldberg machines were over engineered apparatus which performed simple task in a highly complex fashion and it was fun to watch them but now a Norway research project and London design firm has created a machine which is not your ordinary Rube Goldberg machine but still encompasses the fun element. It deploys Nearness concept putting to use RFID and mobile technology for creating several steps which turns on the computer. This machine puts to use devices which are activated in proximity of one another for completing the chain.
