Operating at a frequency of 2.45GHz, the temperature sensing RFID tag (model 127003) can withstand temperatures ranging between 50°C to 150°C making it completely fit to face harsh conditions. In case of any sharp drop in temperatures it triggers an alarm. You even get to know the exact time within which the temperatures changed. It has a pretty extensive battery life of four years and a maximum read range of 100m. It uses an anti collision solution ensuring a hundred tags can be read concurrently.
Seems to be an ideal fit for cold logistics.
