The low cost RFID Tester takes care of all troubles
Filed in archive Companies on March 6, 2009

A number of you out there still find RFID technology to be a costly proposition but what would you say about this RFID detector which is priced at just $20. This low cost device launched by Montie Design detects whether RFID interrogators are doing their job or not.
This RFID detector is pretty small and can clip onto an ID badge. If I go into detail regarding it then it includes an antenna integrated into PCB along with an LED. It only illuminates when it detects RFID transmission and signals whether transmission is taking place or not.
Check out the specifications of this low cost RFID detector:
• Credit card sized (3-3/8 inches x 2 1/8 inches)
• Priceless installation and diagnostic tool
• Works with all UHF RFID systems (including EU ETSI-compliant systems)
• Gives a positive indication that each antenna is operating
• Bright Blue LED is visible even in the brightest sunlight
• Completely passive - no batteries required
• Environmentally friendly and completely passive because it doesn't require batteries

I believe this is a positive step in the correct direction. This low cost device is one that I would like to add on to my www.rfiddenied.com list of products that benefit those of us in conveying our message relating rfid to the consumers of them
