The Aluminium HF RFID Inlays from Omron
OMRON has launched aluminum HF inlay which are meant for asset tracking and security applications such as access control and library inventory. The performance of these inlays is comparable to that of copper inlays.

These aluminiumlinks inlays can solve the problem with regard to disposal of copper waste and the environmental hazards caused henceforth. These inlays are for the segment which is concerned about the environment. The aluminum antenna has been combined with OMRON's Jomful technology which is a patented chip bonding technology and this ensures that the RoHS standards are met and the use of environment unfriendly materials get reduced.

Called the V730S-D13-PO1, the new aluminium inlay is the size of a credit card and complies with ISO 15693 HF standard for 13.56MHz frequency and performance wise both copper and aluminium inlays produce the same results.
