Implementation

If you know any bartender, ask him one thing which he would like to change about his job and most of them would give an answer that if they had a machine which could create mixes for them instead of them having to use their hands for mixing drink.
Missouri S&T students trio seems to have overheard their desires and developed an intelligent drink dispenser prototype which creates a smart drink using a combination of RFID tags, web interface and other technological innovations.
On the very first look this simple wooden box may appear as a smaller version of the beverage dispensers found at restaurants, pubs and bars but it's unlike the ordinary beverage dispensers as the machine is controlled through a computer interface which enables users to select the drink options.
The intelligent drink dispenser can mix three different liquids but it can be expanded to 24 options. Even RFID technology is being put to use as RFID tags are required to be attached to the bottom of glasses and programming the information into computerized system which enables dispensers to remember which drink needs to be to filled in glasses and would take care of their worry about remembering which glass needs to be refilled with which particular drink.
So who will gain at the end of the day with the smart drink dispenser?
Firstly life will become easier for bartenders, waiters and waitresses
Secondly self service customers stand to gain
Above all it makes business sense as the machine would ensure even monitoring and control of liquid dispensed
Now it needs to be seen whether this intelligent drink dispenser prototype ends up becoming a reality or not.
