RFID Tags in Sports Tickets...Update

It's been over a year since I've written about sports ticketing using RFID (can it possibly be that long?). Back in March of 2004 I wrote about how RFID-tagged tickets would be used at the 2008 Olympicslinks and at the 2006 German World Cup.
