RFID set to sober kids at school
Filed in archive Implementation by gautam on October 22, 2007
So the next time your kids says that they are at school and not at the local mall you will have to believe their words since RFID will help you keep a watch on them. All this will become a reality as a high school in South Yorkshire is conducting a pilot where uniforms of pupil will be RFID tagged and since the chip connects with the computer of the related teacher you will be able to know well your child is actually performing in the class (most of the children out of fear tell their parents that they are among toppers of their class) or whether they are seated in the correct class or not. Another good thing about it is that the tags will be able to restrict pupil entry to certain places such as girls shower room.

Though human rights campaigners are raising their voice against tagging of children but I would like to ask them a question that if they oppose it then they should suggest a better alternative to control the rogue kids since it's only at this young age they can be tackled properly if they are trailing the wrong path. So all those naughty kids beware as RFID has been let loose to set your act straight!!
