RFID Panel for CIOs

Filed in archive Special Events by Anita Campbell on November 07, 2005

CIO symposium
On Wednesday, November 9th, I will be moderating a panel discussion on RFID at a local CIO Symposium.

We've got a great panel lined up: Anthony Amaddio of IBM; Len Steinbach, CIO of the Cleveland Museum of Art who has been written up for RFID use in CIO Magazine; Rob Steinberg, of Productivity by RFID; and Andreas Somogyi, of Rockwell Automation.

The panel will give an overview of major uses of RFID today in businesses and some of the key issues today.

The event is invitation-only for CIOs and senior IT executives, but the luncheon is an open event where awards will be given for CIO of the Year. So if you are within driving distance of Cleveland, Ohiolinks in the Midwest, USA, you could always drop by for the luncheon and hear the keynote speech, given by John Soat, Executive Editor of InformationWeek magazine.
