RFID News Spotters Wanted!
Filed in archive Special Events on October 5, 2004
For those of you reading this weblog by a feedreader, you probably haven't seen the announcement: we are offering a bounty for each piece of submitted RFID news that we publish.
If you would like to earn a little extra cash, send us news tips. Here are the FAQs on how this new program works:
FAQs
- How does it work?Simply send us an email - if we accept the story we will credit you US $5.
Also we will credit you with "Spotted by John (incl. weblog URL)"
Send your email to: tips@creative-weblogging.com
- How long is this offer valid? As long as shown on the right sidebar here on the RFID Weblog.
- An article I sent is shown without crediting me and my balance has not been adjusted?Stories roam around fast in the web and our authors read many newsfeeds. So it's possible we found that story through another source without using your hint.
- How do we pay out?We only pay via Paypal if the amount due exceeds USD $30 (US thirty dollars). We will credit amounts only to the email used for the submission. No exceptions. Please make sure you use the same email for all your submissions or you will have to wait until both addresses reach the payout limit.
- Can I inquire my actual balance?Yes, please send an email to accounting@creative-weblogging.com
Keep in mind that we pick up items that we think are of interest to business executives, so choose your news accordingly. In fact, I like to think of this weblog as "RFID for Executives."
We especially value news that is off the beaten path or hard-to-find.
I am really pleased that Creative Weblogging is offering this program for the RFID Weblog. The bounty also applies to some of the other Creative Weblogging blogs. Check out all of the CW blogs listed to the right to see which ones.
Also we will credit you with "Spotted by John (incl. weblog URL)"

Now what I read from RFID news from www.zombiewire.com is that the RFID chip market will ten fold by the year 2007 and at that time the consumers will finally know of RFID and they will make a statement but will do what consumers do and allow the mandate. Although I do believe that there must be some privacy issues solved by then. Today RFID is like the wild wild west and ZombieWire is Jim West. Jo

I have been buying many rfid stocks because some of what ZombieWire rfid news has established on their web site. I think what ZombieWire is providing is a great service for the rfid market because they are informing consumers of the issues of rfid. So when rfid does spike then at that time the laws will be set in place and the consumers and the retailer will be on the same page. I know most of the rfid news sites are there for the supply chain but ZombieWire is there for the consumer chain and those will be spending their money and boosting the market.
thank you, Juanita

Yes Zombie Wire RFID Consumer News is a great service. They seem to be on the fence on RFID but are making RFID awareness to the consumer. They are on the complete side of Caspian. They back the Boycotts on Tesco and Wal Mart because of the practice of RFID tags in use with out proper laws to enforce the privacy of the consumer once the product leaves the store with the chip being turned off or killed.
I visit www.zombiewire.com each day to see what is next. They even have a RFID employment, stocks, weather, news, portal too many online newspaper and a whole page of very nice free blogs.

Zombie Wire RFID World News' main objective is to reach out to the consumer and educate them on RFID and how it will infringe in their private lives.
We would say that 90% of all consumers do not know of the RFID movement. The question are: why are there as many as 90% of the consumers thus far in to the RFID movement unaware of what is taking place behind closed doors? What is there to hide? If informed of the RFID mandate, would they the consumer refute or conform? These and other inquiries need to be approached now before the mandate stands insurmountable.
Get informed now on the RFID movement at Zombie Wire RFID World News. If you want to be a part of Zombie Wire and have something to ad: Contact Zombie Wire for more information.
