Implementation

One of the artists who has made an effort towards doing something different is Mogens Jacobsen and has come up with a novel method for presenting the archive of audio art at the museum for Contemporary Art in Roskilde, Denmark. Deploying his creativity Mogens has created a physical bar like social environment called Audiobar which allows art lovers to interact with sounds using RFID tagged bottles. For this purpose the museum has allocated two rooms- a bar room for collective interaction and a study lounge for deeper explorations. A number of keywords have been used for labeling every bottle in the Audiobar like noisy, slow etc and sounds which match the keywords can be played by the visitors.
This will certainly enable RFID to come out of an image where it was being labeled as a technology only aimed at tracking and identification.
