RFID Kid Finder for the careless parents
Filed in archive Companies on March 17, 2009

You must be amazed to know that there is a stronger chance of parents losing their kids in the crowd as compared to other tangible items. This creates problem not only for the careless parents but even for the authorities who have a tough time searching for the innocent child separated from his parents.
In order to diminish any chance of agonies for the parents, Princeton has created a Kid Finder device where the remote gives directional information in order to guide the person to the receiver. It also reveals distance information besides triggering an alarm for the safety of the tagged kid but don't expect high accuracy levels as it would only work for up to ninety meters.
Still a cool device for parents with lackadaisical attitude but it would be great if it could be integrated with cell phone!!

Makes me wonder how many of the author's "tangible items" and have walked away on their own....definitely clueless.
