RFID in the Supply Chain

In my spare time -- of which there is precious little -- I have been working behind the scenes to help put on an RFID seminar later this month.

It's called "RFID in the Supply Chain." It will be on November 19th with some world-class speakers and panelists -- and a positive steal at $50.

We'll also hear from several University of Akron people about the University's RFID Competency Center, including Professor B. Vijayaraman, Associate Professor Barb Osyk, and Dean James Barnett. And I don't know if he'll be speaking, but we've had lots of able assistance from Professor Ravi Krovi, Director of the University's Center for Information Technology and eBusiness (CITE).

I am on the Board of two of the organizations behind the seminar: the Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA) and The University's CITE Board.
