RFID Has 18 Advantages over Barcodes

Some of you send me emails looking for information about RFID, either because you want to learn more -- or you have to make a presentation to senior management.

Well, if you are in that situation, then a white paper I ran into today may be just the ticket for you.

The white paper is written by the Institute of electricallinks Engineers (the IEE). It is a nuts and bolts approach that explains how RFID works, especially in the factory setting. This diagram is from the white paper, showing products on a conveyor belt with RFID tags that are alternately read and written to:
