RFID enabled shopping carts to make your shopping experience a lot easier
Whenever I go shopping to the superstore I probably get lost in the maze of numerous products around and its enough to irritate me since I am not able to reach for the items which I require leading to a lot of my precious time going down the drain.

Now Microsoft has come forward to make my life a bit easier with the RFID enabled shopping carts. It has already spent four hours in creating a grocery car mounted console which would enable us to search for required products in the store and pay for them without having to wait endlessly in the checkout queue. As soon as you scan the items and place them in your cart you would get a running price tally and items will be checked off your shopping list, courtesy the console.

RFID will be used for sensing the location of the cart in the store and this would help in understanding the buying behavior of the shoppers and this data will be used for shooting off targeted advertisement to the customers so that they can make an informed shopping decisions and help in furthering the sales of the company. I hope it makes the lives of shoppers pretty easy and doesn't pester them at the end of the day.
