RFID Cabinet will remember your items placed inside it
Filed in archive Companies by gautam on October 18, 2007
You know that your important documents are in one of the cupboards but at what place you simply don't remember and at the end of the day you end up ransacking both of them surely enough to incur the wrath of your wife after she witnesses all the commotion but such things will be a thing of the past with Storage + from Advanced Research Company which is an RFID based smart storage cabinet indicating the items inside it and the ones which are missing and even providing information about who accessed the cabinet.

rfid labels are put on each and every item to be stored in the cabinet and users of the cabinet are required to either swipe their cards or enter pin to access the cabinet and after every access the cabinet tracks what all is inside it and what all has left it. In case it is running low on some item it shoots an email to the concerned authorities to replenish the items. It should work well for both home and commercial use. I think I need to order one such cabinet for my personal use too.
