RFID brings to end an era of generous drinks
I have been a regular at a local bar where the friendly bartender pours generously for me since over a period of time we seemed to have developed camaraderie but I never realized that the generous attitude of bartenders was responsible for annual losses worth $7.2 billion for the liquor industry. The losses have been blamed on the overgenerous bartenders and their habit of pocketing the value of the drinks.

In order to arrest such cases of unacceptable behavior RFID, LTD is offering RFID based Beverage Tracker solution where a micro chip is embedded into the liquor pour spout in order to catch incidences of unacceptable pouring behavior. Reports can also be generated with respect to sales outside the purview of POS button push and real time visibility with respect to inventory positions. The company has also decided to implement its $10,000 Beverage tracker Liquor Shrinkage Solution to one lucky bar or restaurant absolutely free. In this manner pubs and restaurants will be able to civilize their bartenders and at the end of the day I will have to shell out more to enjoy my favorite glass of Martini.
