'RFID and The Internet of Things' By Mediamatic
In September watch out for the workshop titled 'RFID and The Internet of Things' to be presented by Mediamatic. The dates for the workshop are 11, 12, 13 September Participants at this workshop would be developing critical, utopian or nightmarish concepts for an Internet of Things in a hands-on way. Ideas could range from scripts for small new rituals to outlines of societal changes of epic scale. The prototypes developed could be tested with the workshop tools The Symbolic Table or the Nokia3220 phone with RFID reader.

The workshop can accommodate sixteen designers, artists, thinkers and makers. The participation fee for this particular workshop is €350 per person, ex BTW. It includes lunches, technical equipment and assistance.
