RFID Alarm to save precious lives from being mowed down by vehicular traffic
Filed in archive Implementation on August 2, 2007
It is estimated that every year six thousand pedestrians fall to motor vehicles which if calculated on a daily basis equals to sixteen people being killed by motor traffic every day. Besides this around 110, 000 people standing or walking near a roadway receive serious injuries each year and these are the figures only of US. Just think about the figures in terms of the whole world and you will not be able to stop counting.
In order to bring down these figures a device known as RFID Alarm has been invented by Arthur Horn. Now you must be wondering what RFID Alarm is? Here a box which is around two inches thick is mounted on the back of the vehicle and people working in the area where motor vehicles operate are given RFID tags to be worn and in case the person is in danger of being mowed down the transmitter on the truck sends a warning signal to the person so that they can save their lives. For this purpose Invention Support has tied up with Arthur Horn to support and introduce this device in the market.
This invention can be implemented in high vehicular traffic areas such as parking lots, busy intersections and areas where hoist trucks operate. A number of precious lives can hence be saved every year which would other wise might have been lost due to negligent driving.

Whenever a large number of people on foot and in cars come together, the mixture can be serious. Add to that mixture some impatience and minds on shopping lists, and it can become tragic. How does the owner of the parking lot enter into this equation? With proper loss prevention measures such as security cameras, proper lighting, appropriate traffic control and lane markings and appropriate security guard service, it is hoped that they will never have to learn.
