Quickies: Digital version of sticky notes
Filed in archive Implementation on January 23, 2008
We have been addicted to sticky notes ever since we started working and they have been serving us well in reminding us about petty details which we tend to forget during our hectic schedules and at times we may find ourselves lost in the maze of our sticky notes but you need not worry as here are Quickies which are electronic version of sticky notes that can be tracked digitally and can even send you messages and reminders on your cell phones and e-mail.
It would definitely make our lives more organized and supplement the traditional paper based sticky notes. You can call it a complete package in the modern day as the Quickies is an excellent combo of natural language processing, artificial intelligence, RFID and ink recognition technologies.
Every Quickie note would be accompanies with an RFID tag and you could use RFID receivers to find out information written back several weeks back. That's not all as even in the condition of absence from your desk anybody could leave message on your workstation and you would instantly get the message on your phone. It can turn out to be a success if dependence on computer is reduced and in the coming days it may be very much possible to print RFID tag and reader on every Quickies note. Life will change for good in the future I believe!!

I hope more people would be interested in it, too, instead of having to literally tag everything.
Anyway, really cool stuff, and I hope I can find it on the web somewhere. Is it for free?
