Parents can leave their child worries behind with RFID on their shopping expedition
Whenever parents take their children along for their shopping expedition they tend to concentrate more on the safety of their child rather than their shopping needs which makes the shopping expedition thoroughly unenjoyable as most of their time is spent fearing about the well being of your child in the vast spaces.

Realizing this problem of parents, Baroue which is a children superstore in Kuwait has deployed RFID tracking system which would enable parents to keep a watch on their kids while they are shopping. Even though children are left under the watchful eye of staff members still parents will be able to monitor their kids from the information terminals spread across the store.

Here every child is given a wristband which looks like a toy lion but actually it is a battery powered RFID tag whereas the parents are given a ticket with a corresponding number to the unique ID number of the child. The signals are picked up by the RFID reader and the data regarding position of the child is displayed through small dots on the map and at the same time parents can view digital images of their child. Parents visiting Baroue can certainly leave their worries with RFID and shop with a cool mind. It is rightly said that if technology is employed correctly then it can certainly be a boon.
