I was interviewed last week by reporter Susan Shor about the state of the rfid industry for manufacturers and what is preventing wider adoption of RFID at the moment. The final article appears in CRM Buyer magazine.

I'll tell you whats limiting adoption of RFID - RFID vendors.
I have an application for RFID here in New Zealand, requiring small RFID tags and proximity readers - you would not believe the difficulty I am having getting vendors to even respond to my e-mails. It's like they don't want to sell the damn things. I don't know whether it's the fact that we are a start up company or too small, because they just keep ignoring me or telling me they
don't have a presence in NZ - what kind of sales people are these!
