The technology makes use of RFID reader, software and RFID enabled liquor spouts. The spouts have a measuring device and 418 MHz measuring device. When the bar tender tips the bottle the tag and measuring device are activated. The system measures the amount of liquor in ounces. There is an antenna at the ceiling above the bar. The tag transfers the data collected to this antenna. The tags have a maximum read range of one hundred feet from the antenna. The tag transfers information regarding the size and brand of the bottle as well as the amount of liquor poured in real time. The receiver is linked to the computer network of the bar and makes use of a wireless internet connection to transmit data. There is a lag of just one second in the pouring of liquor and the receipt of information by the computer system
.This is truly fast and incredible! Isn't it?
