Now cows express their opinion on twitter

We hear about celebrities, politicians, business honchos and every tom, dick and harry on the planet tweet via twitter and express their emotions but have we ever made an effort to know that even animals have emotions and how they would like to express it? Now 12 cows from Ontario are making an effort to share their thoughts with the world.

Here are some of the thoughts which cows might want to express:

I just squirted 20.4 kgs of milk out of my teats in 10:28 seconds. What did you do today?

These are just some of the thoughts of Charge Gina, one of the bovines but have not been written by her. This message is part of Teat Tweet Dairy Diary, an art project conceived by the critical media lab at the University of Waterloo along with help from Ontario farmer Chris Vandenberg and his cows which include Jerry J Lo, Kurt Appeal and Frosty Lace.

Chris runs a high tech farm where cows get robotically milked ending up tweeting about it to the rest of the world. The farm automatically sends messages to twitter after the cows have been fed and milked.

The cows get access to locked area via RFID tags attached to their ears and radio waves are used to let the cows in when it's the correct time for milking.

Given below are some of the examples of recent tweets:

Can't get in, My RFID transponder must be dirty. I'll give it a lick and see what happens, tweeted Montgomery Mae recently.

Mae bragged, 10.1 kg of frothy deliciousness for the humans. Ever squirt out 11.0 kg of lactate in 3:23 seconds? I have.

Wow, now even bovines can express their opinion, all thanks to technology!!
