M220 mobile reader: Take it along wherever you go
Filed in archive Tags and Readers by gautam on September 18, 2007
The world is getting smaller and so are the mobile readers. Here is M220 mobile reader from RF Code which is an Austin based company. It works with RFID tags working on 433MHz band and since it is mobile one can carry it along with ease. It uses Bluetooth technology therefore one can use the reader for transmitting data over small distances to Windows handheld devices, laptops or even Blackberry devices. The best thing about this reader is that it is unique in its class as it is reasonably priced as compared to tag readers trading currently in the market which are aimed at industrial units and are quite expensive too. Since I already told you it is reasonably priced the company is selling it for $995 therefore small businesses can use it with ease.

M220 mobile reader: Take it along wherever you go

M220 Mobile Reader specifications as per the company are:

Battery powered
Reports radio messages from 100 RFID tags per second to 200 feet
Measures 4.79-in. by 3.01-in. by 1.15-in and weighs 5.7 ounces

I believe it's a good product which would surely do well among small businesses.

Thnx a ton slashgear
