iGlassware: Will not leave customers at the table disappointed
Most of the bars tend to lose a part of their revenue as waiters fail to ask the customers for a repeat drink. Now here is something which will ensure that customers are served in a prompt manner and they don't lose out on their profits. A team at MERL realized this problem and has worked on glassware which detects fluid levels through high resolution capacitance measurements.

Labeled as iGlassware, this prototype glass comes with standard microprocessors and passive components. Coil in the table powers the glass which leads to data exchange. Combination of RFID and capacitance sensing technologies has been used in this project to achieve optimum results. In this manner waiter or waitresses serving the tables will get to know that the customer on the table is in need of a drink and would refill their glasses without having to keep them waiting.

Its not only cost effective but will also ensure that your customers are not left disappointment and they continue visiting your bar with the same enthusiasm enjoying drinks after drinks.
