iDTRONIC USB Stick: UHF read write device in stick form
If I am not mistaken then this is the first UHF read/write device available in USB stick package. So in case you possess a device having a USB port it would be very much possible to read and write Gen2 and ISO 18000-6 standard passive UHF tags.

Measuring 120*34*15, this USB stick from iDTRONIC derives its power from the device it's plugged into and matches the EPCglobal Gen2 and ISO 18000-6 Part B and C standards.

One drawback in this case is that it cannot match read range of common fixed position passive UHF readers which is generally twenty feet or more and in case of USB stick from iDTRONIC it is only 80 cm. This RFID USB Stick is expected to fill in air in the vacuum existing between laptops and handheld mobile devices. As of now the market is still not mature for such devices but future holds promise for them

So now get ready to use your laptop, desktop or for that matter any other USB backed device to achieve the same as USB stick is expected to debut within a month.
