Houses in Japan get RFID protection
Filed in archive Companies on March 31, 2008

Japanese houses have become further secure as NTT DoCoMo has come up with a new home security system which would give you a sound sleep. Here it is implementing its RFID phones to make your homes a guarded place.
Around dozen houses built by developer Sekisui House are using DoCoMo's osaifu keitai or wallet phones as a part of the security system of the dwellings. RFID terminals have been affixed at the entrance of these houses which only allows people carrying phones with a pre-registered osaifu RFID chip to gain entry into the house.
Another good thing is that these phones can also be used for turning on electrical items and even capturing images of unexpected callers via door intercom. One can even get reports in their mail box regarding the people gaining access or leaving the house with the help of phone keys. This home security system can be all yours for just £1,000. I believe this is probably a very small price you will be paying to keep your priceless life protected.
