Have you tested the RFID Smart Tables?
With winters ready to say goodbye in some parts of the world, here is an RFID table for retailers who would like to offer the woolen clothing at discounted prices and with a number of people ready to grab these items this table would come handy for dealing with the rush. This smart table eliminates the need for a handheld reader and reads the passive UHF EPC RFID tags of items in an automatic manner.

This table will be useful in cases of discounted items since customers tend to check these items and at times place them elsewhere which makes it difficult to track them later. This SmartTable offers you sheer convenience as you can get to know when the items have left the table so that you can track them and place them back at their position or even collect information on the buying habits of the customer. It can serve as an alternative to some of the costly and bigger shelf reader systems.

Developed by RFID Global Solution these tables are six feet long and three feet wide and they come along with a choice of rfid reader coupled with a power cord, antenna and a wireless connection. Already these tables are being used by the army and the company has plans to develop the lighter version of these tables. At present these durable tables can hold weight up till thousand pounds and can be easily moved by two people. The table can be availed for $7,500.
