Karthik is a graduate student at the University of Florida. He says, "My interest in RFID started when I met Dr.Bruce Welt, who is in charge of the UF RFID Lab. I am now involved in developing RFID applications (mostly targeted towards supply chain) in the UF RFID Lab. In the UF RFID Lab, we are involved in RFID training,Third party hardware evaluations, individual RFID Product Assesments, RFID site planning, business process analysis etc. and we have affiliations with many Top RFID companies." (Quoted with permission.) Congratulations, Karthik! We have one copy of the new book "RFID: Applications, Security and Privacy" to give away to a loyal reader. All you need to do is leave a comment below.
About the bookThe book is a collection of essays and short articles by many writers. It is edited by Simson Garfinkel and Beth Rosenberg. The book contains corporate case studies, technology papers, and privacy essays. I haven't finished reading my own copy yet, but I can say that 214 pages into it, the book is holding my interest well. The book offers a depth of knowledge that is hard to get just from reading magazine and Web articles. I am learning a tremendous amount.
The book is a hardcover, over 500 pages, and retails for $54.99 (USD). Definitely worth a read!
