GammaTag Can Withstand Radiations
Up till now the pharmaceutical companies was a worried lot as the RFID tags failed during the sterilization process but not now. AdvantaPure has come up with GammaTag which is resistant to gamma radiationlinks. This tag can handle gamma radiation up to 45 kilograys. Necessary details can be entered on the tag besides it can be read/write and is resistant to clean in place sterilization processes.

With this tag products can be tagged early on in the supply chain and can be tracked throughout the sterilization process which was impossible till now. Gammatags will also find a place in liquid pharmaceuticals manufacturing requiring gamma radiation.

Though the cost is a bit more but with it full tracking is possible along with higher login security. It will certainly be of help to the pharma companies to improve their manufacturing process.
