French government shows support for RFID, whose next?
Filed in archive Implementation on October 12, 2007
First it was the big companies and now government of a European nation which is expected to help the cause of RFID. The French government is looking forward to give RFID a push with its objective to create a national RFID center. The government will be pumping $2.82 million over a period of three years with the aim of co-ordinating national development and promotion efforts towards RFID. Under the program the government would concentrate on test and R&D activities and will even be offering training and consulting services. This will be helping small and medium enterprises as this will enable them to master the art of RFID Technology and implement it in their products and services.

This is probably some good news for proponents of RFID to cheer about since it will help in the further of growth of the technology and we may see other governments of various countries too following the footsteps of French Government very soon. Looks like a bright and rosy picture for RFID ahead.
