You may feel that this may not be the right time to talk about vehicles but the current economic situation has not deterred Ford from coming up with the Transit Connect Family One Concept Vehicle which as you may have guessed correctly comes with an in dash computer along with RFID.
The concept behind this vehicle is to keep the family traveling organized and entertained at the same time. It deploys the Ford Work Solutions technology which would enable Ford travelers to run their lives in a better manner from the comforts of their vehicle. Using predictive algorithms it reminds parents of the planned events and the equipments required for them.
For e.g. if you are planning a picnic in the mountains then you will be need to affix RFID tags to all the necessary items you intend to take along so that you don't have to waste precious gas to make unnecessary trips back home from the middle of your journey to fetch those items again. So in case you forget to load your guitar in the boot the system would inform you when you sit in your car to commence the journey.
Here the system coordinates with a smart mobile phone so it eases the digital lifestyle of the parent for activities such as schedules, reminders, hands free calling and to do list which at the end of the day makes a parent smarter and better equipped.
It also keeps the safety aspect in mind and the system wirelessly communicated with the sensors on the child seat which gives peace of mind to the driver that the child sitting on the back is absolutely safe.
I would say it's an all an all a complete family vehicle which takes care of all your needs. Click here to read about other features of this concept vehicle.
