Find out worldwide RFID deployments with a single click
Filed in archive Market Size on April 28, 2009

Want to know how RFID is being adopted world over? If yes then check out the new graphical interactive RFID deployment map introduced by RFID Journal. The RFID deployment map is somewhat like a wiki tool which enables visitors all around to share their information about RFID projects and the pace at which RFID is being adopted around.
You can have a look at the map here with dots representing RFID deployments. Several colored dots have been used which represents sectors adopting RFID such as aerospace, manufacturing, retail and pharmaceutical. Whenever a cursor is rolled over the dot RFID deployment information is displayed using a popup. You can gain information regarding the deployment along with link to additional information.
Users are encouraged to enter any information they have regarding RFID deployment but the information will be verified by RFID Journal editors before getting posted on the map.
I feel this map could give a clear picture regarding RFID deployment across sectors worldwide and put to rest any form of misgivings or confusion regarding adoption of the technology.
