The new shopping cart dubbed as Media Cart will be making theur debut at Cold Storage before the end of this year. These are not the ordinary carts you are used to generally but RFID equipped shopping carts which identifies the position of the shopper via the technology and feeds them target advertisement and item location through LCD screen attached at the front of the cart.

Its product locator feature will display the exact product location coupled with the map of the supermarket. It will also be including a loyalty card program which enables shoppers to generate customized shopping lists and have it displayed on the cart screen while they are shopping at the superstore so that they don't miss out on any items which they intend to purchase.

A shopper will probably have a great time shopping and it would be a good option for men like me who hate shopping and get lost in the maze of supermarket while buying their daily requirements. Hopefully this RFID cart will once again renew my interest in shopping around at the local store.
