Chip implants offer access to nightclub in Barcelona
Even though injecting RFID is still a topic of debate but a Nightclublinks in Barcelona has gone ahead and transmitted the chip through syringe to clubbers visiting its VIP areas and hence makes it easier to identify them through tags and pay for their drinks. The chip is just the size of a grain and a tag reader is used to prompt the chip and transmit the information to the database.

Conrad Chase, co-owner of the club stated:

I know a lot of people have fears about it. Having a radio-transmitting chip under your skin makes you very unique

Even though US FDA has given the green signal to implantation of RFID chips in humans but still people fear it. This could be because people would not like any foreign object in their body plus the use of syringe could really make it unpopular. People may also feel uncomfortable by the thought that they would always be under the scanner and this could work against this concept. Let's see how much success it meets in the time to come.
