Call for Award Nominees from AIM Global

Here is a chance for you or your organization to be recognized by the Automatic Identification and Data Capture industry. AIM Global has issued a call for nominations for two awards: The Percival Award and The Richard R. Dilling Award.

Check them out and if you think you qualify -- or know someone or some organization that qualifies -- submit a nomination. The deadline is November 17, 2006.

The Percival Award is granted to someone from the user community for applying auto ID technologies. The Dilling Award is granted "to executives, scientists, and engineers in recognition of outstanding contributions that have furthered the growth of the industry through important applications and new technological developments."

The awards do not appear to be strictly related to RFID, but apply to any automatic identification and data capture technology (that would include barcodes, presumably).
