Best Place to Order Your Drinks- The RFID Pub Tables
Filed in archive Implementation by gautam on September 21, 2006

Just scroll down the screen to choose your drink and orders get transmitted through Ethernet over powerline and just wait as the drinks would be delivered at your table. For this purpose two sets of staff have been deployed- one would cater to the requirements of the RFID tables and the other would look after the bar as usual. Paying for these drinks is quite easy as you can pay using RFID chipped cards which come with both pre-pay and billing option.
The tables are waterproof and in case a scuffle erupts over a spilled drink the electrical components of the table would still be safe. Not only the students but even the bar stands to gain from it as more drinks are expected to be placed which means more revenue. This would also increase the possibility of students experimenting with expensive drinks too.
There is something more you can get apart from drinks at these tables, your dream lover. You can chat with your crush sitting on the other table with an IM like system. If you are wondering as to what to say there are certain pre-programmed cheesy chat up lines which would help you in breaking the ice. In case you would like to impress the other person you could even send credit to the other table which is equivalent to getting someone a drink. In case this does not seem interests you, enjoy yourself with games or SMS. Shortly you would also be able to avail a taxi booking service in case you feel that after the drinks you would not able to reach your place on your own. In the future you might also able request music, watch football matches and a video jukebox too. In case you cannot find at a seat at the Intermission Bar you could go to Ministry of Sound clubs in London and Harrogate both.
Now you know where to head for in case you are exhausted after a boring lecture. Cheers!!
