Sun Microsystems and Capgemini have launched a jointly developed Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solution.
The solution is designed for retail and consumer packaging companies that need to comply with RFID mandates from retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, and albertsons.
Sun and Capgemini bill their joint offering as a "complete
end-to-end solution including hardware, software and consulting services." It optimizes the full supply chain.
