Apple toying around with RFID in patent
Filed in archive Patents on October 31, 2008

Just came across a patent filed by Apple titled Personal area network systems and devices and methods for use thereof. This patent stresses on gadget interconnectivity future where Apple foresees radio frequency transmitter receivers which can create a connection between gadgets which may be fitted on any part of your body. With an ID for these devices data could be transmitted over short and long ranges among portable gadgets in an automated fashion. Doesn't sound very enthusiastic but when it has the name of Apple associated with it then definitely it is bound to get noticed. This could be the future but let me tell you that future is always unpredictable!!
