Up till now there was an aura of confusion surrounding RFID where we heard stories about RFID viruses and how it could ruin our privacy. These tales about how RFID could destroy our lives were being published almost every where without being backed by any credentials. Realizing that there is lack of understanding among the media and public regarding RFID, Association of Automatic Identification and Mobility or AIM Global is trying to make a sincere effort to clear the public image of RFID and for this purpose it has come out with the Get the Truth Out initiative for creating awareness about RFID.

AIM Global
has partnered with well known rfid companies for constructing a positive image about RFID highlighting consumer benefits, spotlight applications and ongoing industry activities for self regulation. Their rapid response team would be kicking out any misleading reports regarding the technology and it would be imparting balanced information dealing with technical capabilities and real world business practices.

This can be surely termed as an encouraging effort for highlighting the positive side of RFID through real life uses, advantages and even the limitations of the technology too.
