You need to check out the Beat Blender Prototype created by Matti Niinimaki where he created music using a combination of an old Osterizer blender and pieces of fruits tagged with RFID. For creating this Beat Blender, Matti brought together Ableton Live, Arduino, Max/MSP and RFID reader/tag setup.
Here every kind of fruit (not real ones) stands for a sound sample and when it's dropped in the blender it leads to generation of musical notes. Addition of more fruits renders complexity to the composition and if you want to add different effects to your song then you will have to press one of the several blender control buttons such as Puree, Stir, Whip, Mix, Grate, Blend, Liquefy, Chop, Grind and Frappe to experience the effect.
If you want something different then get ready to experience the fruity effect of music to your life!!
